Use an SD card in a compatible camera to record video directly from the camera continuously and securely. No additional hardware is required. SD card recorded video can be viewed on the Alarm.com app or Alarm.com customer website.

Requirements

A Compatible Camera

An SD card

You must use the SD card provided by Comporium.  SD cards purchased from providers or vendors other than Comporium will not be supported.

Creating an Onboard Recording Rule

1. Verify that the SD card is inserted into the camera.
2. Log into the Alarm.com customer website.
3. Click Video.
4. Click Recording Rules.
5. Click Local Recordings.
6. Click Add New Schedule.
7. Using the Select a camera to record from dropdown menu, select the desired device.
8. Using the Select recording quality slider, select the desired quality.
9. In Schedule recording time, click to select either At all times or Only during the following times.
   • If Only during the follow times is selected:
     1. Click to select the desired days to record.
     2. Using the Starting at and Ending at dropdown menus, select the time period to record in hours.
10. To limit the number of days that recordings are kept:
    1. Click the Limit the number of days to record toggle switch to enable a limit.
    2. Using the dropdown menu, select the desired number of days to limit the recordings to.
11. Click Save.

Viewing Recorded Video

Stream footage recorded using a Stream Video Recorder (SVR) or an Onboard Recording rule at any time using Smart View. Playback is available using the Customer Website or Customer app.

From the Mobile App

1. Log into the Customer app.
2. Scroll to the video section
3. Tap the recording icon on the thumbnail you wish to view.

From the Customer Website

1. Log into the Customer Website.
2. Click Video.
3. Click Onboard 24/7 Timeline or SVR Timeline.
4. Using the video device dropdown menu, select the desired device to play back.
5. Click  to stream the device's recorded video.

Timeline Event Filters

1. If the Activity pane is closed, click .
2. Click .
3. Using the available dropdown menus, select the desired event filters.
4. Click Apply.

Expand and collapse concurrent timelines

• Click  to view only one camera's timeline bar
• Click  to view all selected camera timelines at once. 

View SD Card Information

1. Log into the Alarm.com customer website.
2. Click Video.
3. Click Settings.
4. Using the Video Device dropdown menu, select the desired device.
5. Click SD Card Information.

Installing an SD Card

Indoor Wi-Fi Camera (ADC-V515)

1. Verify the device is upgraded to the latest firmware available.
2. Locate the SD card slot on the bottom side of the camera near the QR code and MAC address.
3. Orient the micro SD card with the metal pins facing towards the front of the camera.
4. Insert the SD card into the slot until it clicks.

Outdoor Wi-Fi Camera (ADC-V723 and ADC-V724)

1. It is recommended to insert the micro SD card before the camera is mounted to minimize the chance of dropping the card. If the camera is mounted, remove the camera in order to more easily access the SD card slot.
2. Unscrew the 2 screws on either side of the door found on the bottom face of the camera near the QR code and MAC address.
3. Carefully lift then rotate the door open to provide clearance for inserting the card into the slot for the SD card. Take care not to tug the door which could separate it from the camera.
4. Insert the micro SD card until it clicks.
5. Replace the door and screw the 2 screws back firmly into place.

Outdoor Wi-Fi Camera (ADC-V523) - LEGACY Outdoor Camera

1. Verify the device is upgraded to the latest firmware available.
2. Pull open the rubber tab on the bottom side of the camera near the QR code and MAC address.
3. Insert the micro SD card into the slot until it clicks.
4. Replace the rubber cover.
